Enbridge Pipelines (NW) Inc. - MV2017L1-0002
Line 21 pipeline replacement (Norman Wells to Zama) near kilometre post (KP) 529 (the project). The project is located near the Mackenzie River, approximately 9 kilometres east of the village of Fort Simpson, in the Dehcho Region of the Northwest Territories.
Note that the pipeline crossing is a segment replacement project for an existing pipeline that is regulated by the National Energy Board (NEB). The replacement segment to be constructed will cross underneath the Mackenzie River at an anticipated depth of 90-110 metres below the river bed. The construction work sites on either side of the river crossing will be above the oridinary high water mark. An application for the project was filed with the NEB on March 10, 2017 and is accessible on the NEBs Public Registry at https://apps.neb-one.gc.ca/REGDOCS/Home/Index.
