HRN Contracting Ltd. is proposing to develop a quarry approximately 35km southeast of Norman Wells and 4km north of Vermillion Creek. The proposed quarry will have a combined area of 16 hectares, consisting of a staging area, storage area, and the quarry. Access to the quarry will require an 8km winter access road. Associated Land Use Permit is S13Q​-004.
