The Porritt Landing Dredging Project is to ensure there is adequate water depth to safely launch and dock recreational watercraft. The Town of Hay River is proposing to dredge approximately 800 m^3 of sediment and install a floating finger system dock to allow watercraft docking for safe access. Dredged material will be stockpiled at Lot 1057 (Plan 977), which is approximately 700 m away from the dreding location.
