Research project to characterize the regional glacial deposits, detailed glacial history and permafrost conditions of the central Slave Geological Province (Lac De Gras region). Including sampling surficial deposits and permafrost using low-impact, heli-portable waterless drill rigs complimented by geological mapping, hand sampling of glacial deposits and limited ground-based geophysical surveys.
Transboundary with Akaitcho Region and the Wek'eezhii Resource Management Area.
