In September of 2016, 40 participants gathered to share knowledge about the preliminary screening process, discuss challenges associated with the process and identify constructive steps that could be taken to improve, clarify, and standardize preliminary screening processes within and across institutions.

• Preliminary Screening Practitioner's Workshop Report: summarizes the observations of participants of the Preliminary Screening Practitioner's Workshop. This workshop was hosted by the Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board in collaboration with the Land and Water Boards of the Mackenzie Valley.
