Philippe Di Pizzo is an environmental scientist and geographer who has lived and worked in the Canadian north for the past forty years. His journey began in Eeyou Istchee/James Bay, collaborating with the Grand Council of the Cree.
He also served in Nunavik with the Kativik Environmental Quality Commission, the Kativik Environmental Advisory Committee, and the Kativik Regional Government, and in Nunavut as Executive Director of the Nunavut Water Board.
From 2013 until his retirement in 2019, he was the Executive Director of the Snap Lake Environmental Monitoring Agency. He has been an active board member of the Sahtu Land and Water Board since 2009.
