The Land and Water Boards of the Mackenzie Valley are pleased to announce the release of our updated Guideline for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) SubmissionStandard. This updated guideline will improve clarity for applicants and other parties with respect to requirements for the submission of geospatial data during the application phase of the regulatory process.
In September of 2016, 40 participants gathered to share knowledge about the preliminary screening process, discuss challenges associated with the process and identify constructive steps that could be taken to improve, clarify, and standardize preliminary screening processes within and across institutions.
