Walter Bayha

Walter was born in the Sahtu and currently resides in Deline, NT.   Walter has an extensive educational background in resource management, holding Diplomas in Renewable Resources Management and Forest Technology, and 28 years of experience in the northern Renewable Resource sector.  Fluent in both English and North Slavey, he has an excellent understanding of resource management while still able to provide a deep appreciation of his Dene background.

Hunting and fishing have always been part of Walter.  He has served as chairperson of the District Education Authority in Deline.  When time permits he goes jogging and participates in other community indoor sports activities.
